i think younger me likes rondo more but looking back on it now without all my nostalgia I would have to go with Symphony

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper Awesome! I remember having trying to play rondo for the first time and trying to set up emulators with English translations to play the thing! It's nice to have an official release for the original now, though the psp version is alright too. Yeah the way you get to change equipment and explore in Symphony is what really sells it for me as the better of the two! Ah sorry I keep going on about Castlevania I guess I ramble on about things I like sometimes haha.

i've played Rondo, Symphony, Lords of Shadow, and Aria

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper Awesome! Shame on me though since I do have Lords of Shadow but haven't gotten to it yet haha. But Rondo and Aria are lots of fun! Do you think Rondo is better than Symphony or do you like Symphony more? I am a bit mixed having to pick between the two but I would go with Symphony.

I still haven't played Bloodlines. Tbh i've only played a few Castlevania games but I played the hell out of Symphony

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper That's okay! I recommend it then! It can be a bit challenging but it is still worth checking it out. Which ones have you played then? :)

Symphony of the Night was my first. Wbu?

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper Bloodlines was my first since I was a Sega kid back in the day. Good old Genesis! Symphony of the Night was actually the second one I played.

No I have it downloaded but I keep putting it off. I really want to try it out when I have the time

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper How can you not love that speech? XD Yes I have! I love Symphony of the Night! It's just so... hmm "charming" in it's own way haha. I've been meaning to check out Bloodstained as well, have you checked it out by chance?

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper I appreciate most of the characters of the Sonic universe. Though I always seem to think of them in terms of their gameplay from whatever games they are in. Amy's gameplay has always been alright for me.
