Tsunpaper @tsunpaper I went to school for history actually. I was raised off of classic films. It's all I saw as a kid, so for me its more natural to want to watch those than something more modern.

Neverland @dakoya Oh wow, why did your parents raise you off of classic films? The only times I've seen black and white films or tv shows were very late at night as a kid and they'd usually be westerners, so now I'm slightly partial to westerners in that category. Oh That also includes Kaiju films, like Godzilla.

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper It was a combination of my parents and other relatives, so yes. However after I started to take a liking to all of them, I began to start pursuing different films myself of varying genres. Though I must say I do certainly like to lean toward comedy more than anything else. Ah yes, the old westerns... I have seen too many John Wayne films... It's not that I don't like them, it's just that I was exposed to them far too much when I was younger so I don't want to see anymore if I can help it XD I can never get tired of Kaiju films now matter how many times I rewatch them. They are just so fascinating to me. Well it's nice to know there is someone else out there who grew up with a similar viewing experience.
