Tsunpaper @tsunpaper I found out when I was 12 I think. I pretty much thought is was normal for all of those colors to pop up all the time... that is until I read an article about it in the newspaper and then realized I had something strange. So I then got tested for it and well here we are now! I have 3 variants of it, that I know of. First I can see number and letters/words in colors. Second I can somewhat see sounds in colors. And third I have what is also called "mirrors touch." Basically I can feel what I see. So whenever I see some one touch another person's shoulder I can feel that too. It also affects my body when I dream. Whenever I get hurt in a dream, I woke up with either a bruise or scratch in the area I got hit while I was dreaming.

. @vezax Synesthesia isnt supposed to produce physical effects, its a neurologic condition. Yes you can feel the touch and pain, but an actual bruise existing there must mean your hands move while you are dreaming and when you get hit in dream your hands or legs hit each other! So that dream part isnt related to mirrors touch, its a different issue...

. @vezax But mahn! You can see sound as colours *_* that is amazing, you should start a youtube video on how you see colours on different sounds... It will become famous!

. @vezax I checked that wikopedia page, it doesnt say anywhere that an actual physical event can happen where you feel the touch or pain (like a bruise) it again says what i said about the defect being in perceiving :p

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper Maybe the bruises and scratches are from something different, but I was put in for a sleep study and came out of it with a bruise and they saw that I did not hit anything in my sleep, so it is still a very strange thing. At the time they said it was a side effect of mirrors touch, but who knows? This stuff keeps changing every year right? XD

. @vezax Lol no.. mirrors touch occurs XD i only saod that those bruises arent related to synesthesia! But its so weird that your doctors said its a side effect :/

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper I have watched them before. After attending certain conventions and getting to meet/talk with them about magic, I kind of stopped watching them. Ironically enough all other magicians I know keep telling me to stop using very old resources for my work XD But as of these days, I just come up with my own stuff. I don't really rely others work anymore.

. @vezax You stopped watching them after getting to talk to them? 0_0 usually its the other way around! Well i also disagree with not using old resources! Sometimes using old resources makes the trick better coz there is less chance others know about it.. it helps me in chess.

Tsunpaper @tsunpaper A wonderful skillful performance. I have studied Japanese magic quite a bit so I am aware of how he did his performance as well. To be honest many of the techniques used in his act are things that I want to incorporate into some of my own stage shows. I really do think that the style of this performance has much greater impact on the audience than the general techniques used by Western magicians. I was not fooled by this act sadly XD Also having personally met Penn and Teller a bunch of time at various magician gatherings I can tell you for a fact that they did know how a good portion of the act works, but at the same time I could tell you that they probably misunderstood some of the techniques used for other western magic techniques since some them are very similar.
