I actually have not watched Detective Conan but I think Magic Kaito deserves more publicity than it is given but not the original one. The original was cancelled and didn't have an ending so 1412 is a lot better because they actually finished it. I like it because it is something new that I haven't watched before, I like the idea of magic being used as thieving techniques. I had never heard of it but I came across an AMV about two weeks ago and it was based around Magic Kaito.
