You should talk to my close friend, he's been a librarian for almost 2 years now. Granted it's not a school library, it's the city's library. As a matter of fact, I think next year or maybe even this year I'll do my best to teach a class at my city's library. If you do what you love, nothing else matters! :)

Thanks :) It's funny you should mention that because my parents were both teachers. Plus, my closest friends are in education. Even more so, my mom taught some special needs students for a number of years before her retirement. Plus I work with colleges and universities, so it's a plus. In a second life I would have been in education, but I'll be more of a consultant and hosting classes in the coming years.

What exactly is your major? You most certainly will miss the college life once you get out into the real world. But it isn't all that bad sometimes... it just depends on the job you get. And believe me, it is terribly nerve racking to get into a well paid position if you don't take on any sort of internship / externship. I know personally for my own sake, I had the experience, plus I continued my knowledge, therefore I was able to get with a company I desired most. I would have to say, it's a rather nice feeling once you get seasoned in the field (damn I sound way too old...)
