[DERP] Napalm @napalmamaterasu I also just went off on BLM with what I feel is legitimate criticism. It may make you uncomfortable but I do implore you to give it a read. My criticism and problems with BLM in no way make me feel any different about what I said toward you.

Shadower @theshadower I just read it, I was over here refreshing waiting on your post. I don't have an issue with anything you said at all. I just hope we can get to a point one day where were all referred to as just "American".

[DERP] Napalm @napalmamaterasu I know I will have opposition - that is to be expected given the sensitive topics I posted about and the stance I took on them. I am assuming you've read both parts of my grievances against BLM.

Shadower @theshadower Yes I read both. This whole topic was a frequent discussion in my friends household. Her mother is German and her father is black and from the south. They both had these discussions 24/7. Theses topics are very sensitive though and it's easy for one to lose their cool. It's nice to see there are still some who want to have an open minded discussion.

[DERP] Napalm @napalmamaterasu I wasn't sure how someone of color would take what I said (I wish I didn't have to point this out but in 2016 I do). I am relieved that at least one isn't completely losing their mind. That isn't to say you aren't allowed to disagree or inform me on things I have portrayed in an unfair light. I realize going on Trayvon/Zimmerman and Ferguson events are going to illicit reaction and that's part of my point.

Shadower @theshadower Yeah I'm used to these kind of talks. My family is real interesting when it comes to these talks. I have a great aunt who is married to a Irish guy who is a retired computer programmer. She used to work along side Malcolm X and had a child with one of Louis Farrakhan brother's, then became a computer programmer lol. I have cousins that are damn near transparent, hardcore servicemen/women as well as a few other mixtures in the family. So these talks are brought up a lot.

Shadower @theshadower These discussions can be great, but people need to get out their feelings first. You can always learn something, even if you disagree.

[DERP] Napalm @napalmamaterasu I see quite the diversity there. I can't quite say the same my family is significantly homogeneous although one of my cousins is with an arabic man (not that I've talked with him particularly often on these issues).

You're welcome on my serious discussion topic about guns if you have an opinion on that you'd like to share since you're rational and reasoned. I have educational material there as well if you would just like to learn. (naturally you are equally free to not touch it - just an offer)

Shadower @theshadower Yeah I took a look at it. You put some good material in there. I'm going to get my concealed carry permit soon. Plus a lot of my boys go hunting and shit, they want me to come join and hang out at deer camp for a few days. Might take em up on that.

[DERP] Napalm @napalmamaterasu Thank you. I found the need to really have an emphasis on education. A lot of anti gun sentiment is based in fear and paranoia and not fact.

Shadower @theshadower Dude I'm pro guns all the way. You're right about the paranoia. I pretty much live out in the country and every time new people move in the area..they freak out when they hear shots going off. I'm like these are dudes hunting on their property, you have nothing to worry about. Now if they heard those shots downtown in the city I could understand the concern, but not out here of all places lol.

[DERP] Napalm @napalmamaterasu Yeah if you're in the boonies theres long rifles galore there. Naturally urban areas (population dense) do have reason to be more restrictive. Even then "shall not be infringed" should rule.
