Lamby @momoichi oohhh, well capitalism doesnt necessarily = corruption. sure it promotes greed, but i think it falls more on how the country itself regulates it. lobbyists are america's biggest source of corruption, where as england is also capitalist but uses a political system where the government funds political campaigns, so lobbying is illegal (its considered bribery)

godspell @godspell Yeah but they mostly show the American capitalism they even show how they take advantage of donation charities or how political figures can easily be used in their favor

Lamby @momoichi capitalism can be cruel, but its far more ethical when compared to other economic systems. personally i think the governmental checks that a socialist system has is good, but full blown socialism is bad, so im a socdem, i think a mix of socialist policies and capitalist market is the best system

Lamby @momoichi any idea why it got so little episodes? 80's in general wasnt a great year for animation, mostly just artless, souless attempts at selling toys. hannah barbara and disney were the rare few that actually produced real cartoons for the sake of story telling and art

godspell @godspell I think they couldn't get toys to sell or a company to buy the rights. But it was an amazing story. Voice acting great. Just a shame

Lamby @momoichi reminds me of symbiotic titan. really good cartoon, but never got greenlit for another season thanks to the lack of toys they could sell. worst part is cartoonnetwork owns the rights in perpetuity, so no other network could ever give it another shot :/
