Well, we're not that close at this point, I've only known her about a month. I think now would be a good time to rewatch Suzuka for some do's and don't about relationships (ahh, the things learned from anime, lol). How do you stand being at school that long? When I was in High School classes started at 7:29 AM and ended at 2:31 PM. It was a really screwed up schedule. I wasn't in any extracirricular activities except for Robotics club my sophomore year, I had to ride the bus and couldn't really get rides. The only reason I got pay like that was because I have an Associates Degree in Machining, and they were really desperate for people when they hired me. Most people made a lot less. Considering my degree, the $11/hour was pretty low, but either way, I'm happier at Walmart, even if I don't make nearly as much. I never really wanted a best friend in my brother, just someone that wasn't so arrogant and more respectful, and perhaps one that wasn't such a sore loser. Do you have any siblings? I have amassed quite a collection of Antique radios, I have about 15-20 of them. My favorite would be the great big console radio I have that was made around 1947. It worked for a while, but it broke down again, so I need to fix it once more. I just love the technological history in the old radios, as well as a lot of old music. Its really fun to fix up an old radio from the 1930's or 40's and think how old it is, yet see and hear it playing things still today. We'll never be able to do things like that with modern computerized things because the networks and things that were put in place to use them get shut down and replaced with newer things. Cell phones are a big example, the cell towers today broadcast a different kind of signal than they did 10 years ago, so an old Cell phone is nothing more that a paperweight today, but may become a museum piece in the future.

I've gone to church with Michelle twice, and hope to continue to go. I can completely understand not wanting to be FB friends with someone you don't know that well, all but about 6 people on my friends list I have communication with outside of Facebook, or they are friends of friends. A 2-11 shift at Walmart is like a standard 8 hour shift elsewhere because we get an hour long (unpaid) lunch. At my last job I worked 11:00PM to 7:00AM 5 days a week, it sucked big time. Despite taking home about $500 a week, it was way too stressful for me. In a way its nice not having my brother to deal with, as he is an arrogant jerk with an "I'm better than you" attitude. I do wish I had a sibling that I got along with, but that will never happen with the one sibling that I have. I can relate to being an outcast, and being depressed. That started around 3rd grade for me, which was over 15 years ago... (man, I feel old, lol). Dinner tonight with Michelle went quite well, and we played two rounds of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. I won the first round by a comfortable margin, and she oughtright creamed me in the second round. I also showed her around the area. She really liked seeing the Old Rugged Cross Church, where the hymn "The Old Rugged Cross" was first sang back in 1913. It really does suck not having conventional Internet access, but there's places with free wi-fi around, and sometimes I stay the night at friend's houses and use their Internet. The radio station plays Country music. Old and new stuff, its been around since October 1925. The radio I was using is not my oldest by a long shot, that would be the one I have that was made in 1930, but I haven't restored it yet. My oldest working one was made in 1949, but its out in one of the sheds. I'm kinda stuck in a situation where I can't feed my antique radio hobby due to my temporary housing situation and lack of money... I enjoy hearing from you too :)

Well, Monday didn't amount to what I expected. I wound up sleeping in untill about 1:00ish, but considering the day before I was up for about 17 hours and running on about 4 hours of sleep... Michelle (the girl from work) invited me to go to church with her, and I feel pretty comfortable there, so despite working 2-11 sat and sun, I got up early sunday to go to church. I think everyone can be immature when it comes to kawaii things. I have a cousin around your age that I'm pretty close to. She turned 17 on New Year's Eve, and is a Junior in High School. From our discussions you seem to have a much more logical and realistic view of the real world than my cousin. That being said, she is much more mature than she used to be, and has two younger sisters that may be influincing her maturity. She has an older sister, too but her older sister is 22 and lives with her boyfriend. Speaking of my cousin and her sibings, I have a younger brother, but we don't have anything to do with each other. My parents divorced when I was 19 and I stayed with my mom, and he went with my dad (he was 17). My dad was very emotionally abusive so I don't ave anything to do with him either. Thanks for the words of encouragement! Hopefully things go well when I feel up to telling Michelle how I feel about her. (and, yes my thumbs are getting a workout right now, lol) Well, Its time for me to get some sleep. I kinda want to keep listening to the radio, though... I'm using an old radio made in 1965 to listen to a radio station about 300 miles away (650 AM, WSM out of Nashville, TN). Its battery powered, and I need to use up the batteries anyway, they're getting kinda old (but so far show no signs of being weak).
