Not really. I get screwed over alot here so im thinking of getting a new job. I can start making more at alot of places than what i am mow. Only plus side here is night shift lets me go to school more. Ill finish school in the spring so then ill look more. Might try loading trucks at amazon. If not i can get welding jobs

its more about work. only had 4 or 5 nights off since march. now we're bringing in more crews to cut down on overtime but since i do a job nobody else can i still have to be in 7 nights a week. and now instead of having the guys ive worked with for a while and that know their stuff, im getting stuck with new guys that dont know what their doing and dont show up. plus i got into it with a guy the other day, when we switched to the german machine to make the cages i run it from 11pm to 3am and a guy runs it from 6am to 4. while they basically gave my job title of welding foreman to his boss because "im never here during the day" and we had a disagreement on how big the cages for that day should have been. they made theirs too big and the pipe that used their cages are no good.
