Maybe they are saying Yes in romaji. Maybe like Sanji? http://youtu.be/-SMRg6tcas8 He is saying "WOW YES COME ON!" in English, but this is a Japanese voice. Sanji is always my best example for Engrish.

You mean "ii?" いい "good" or "zehi" ぜひ "By all means"?

Well, I'm still not sure how Japanese say "weees slag" for yes. That's why I need some explanation. I don't watch a lot of anime, mind you. Only One Piece. Beagles would be great with cream cheese with proper training and positive reinforcement. Otherwise they'll take that cream cheese and eat it all, and leave you with a tore up cream cheese container, and no cream cheese to enjoy on your bagel!

Why yes, I actually do. I was typing on my phone when I made the mistake. I was showing my friend from Japan my imput methods on the phone after I typed "hajimemashite" for you, and ya was on the bottom, so when I went to tap done, I accidentally tapped "ya" や so I tapped it by accident! :P I also know kanji, but it may be difficult for you so I didn't put kanji in what I sent you. It's "on purpose" not "on porpoise" porpoise is a kind of sea mammal. Looks like a dolphin without the nose. :P It's cute, though. If anyone got offended at you saying "Gonbanwa" it may be because they think that you're making fun of them, cause it's actually konbanwa こんばんは. Looks like you really love the language, and that should motivate you, but remember Japanese is very difficult. Just because people can say "kawaii desu yo" or "sugoi" or "kakkoi" or "dame" doesn't mean they are a Japanese speaker. :P Means they know some cute little words. Study hard and you will get good at it.

Hey are you trying to say moshi moshi? Lol I will teach you something new! Hajimemashite はじめましてや it means "nice to meet you!" Also, here is a very useful one! Konnichiwa! こんにちは!^o^ this is better for greeting! Japan uses moshi moshi もしもしonly on the phone! (^∇^)hope I helped you! Ganbatte!
