Hope you guys like this- the Thai ghost "Phi Pret"- is as ancient as they come, being prominent in South East Asian folklore and serves as a warning to those of us still alive. These Ghosts are the karmic result of a life as a materialistic individual, who craves to own the best things in life and serves nobody but themselves. Also, if you steal from a monk or temple and dont repent, you can be reborn as this being, doomed to stalk the forests looking for sustenance. Forever hungry, the Pret is cursed with a tiny mouth, just big enough to fit a single grain of rice, as punishment for an insatiable appetite during life that could not be settled with material goods. They stand above the forests they roam, standing about two stories tall, and are gaunt beyond recognition of their previous selves.
