Yeah, I suppose they do. But it's better than not funding anyone at all. Yes, that's why anime like Terror in Resonance (残響のテロル) are banned in china, isn't it? 女娲成长日记 is about Nu Wa. She's part of chinese mythology. I haven't seen enough to talk about all web animations. But people subbing anime abroad made it more popular. The same could happen for Chinese animation (and it is happening with shows for teenagers) which would mean the CCP might fund teenage animations more as it spreads positive Chinese influence overseas (the Japanese government did the same for anime after their economy had trouble). But you live in China so you know better than me. I'm just guessing. Thanks for the link. I will watch it and try to find some English subs elsewhere :) it is very appreciated!
