Anyway, I think the best way to learn any language is to first learn the very basics enough for a simple conversation. Then let go of the books, and just talk to native people. That's how I always did it anyway, and it proves to bear a lot more fruit that trying to remember all the rules of grammar and whatnot by cramming like a steam train. I wouldn't know. Like, it's easy for me since I'm a native speaker (obviously). But it seems to be a major pain for most people I've talked to. I suppose it's just simply a matter of dedication and willingness then. Well....that was usually true for most countries who were our allies back then and had a Communist party. Like even Vietnam civil war was pretty much just Soviet Union vs USA....since we supported the 2 respective sides of lefties and rigthies who were fighting for the throne. Oof....my ancestors were fierce nomads who bullied others. Although we were forced to do so by the Tsar of that time under threat of conquering and executing us all. >_> Really hope we don't have a hostile ancient history of any kind.
