薤上露，何易皠，露皠明朝还复落，人死一去何时归: 人生は薤上の露の如く晞きやすし I was surprised that Natsume Soshiki named this work of his in this way....薤露行 was originally an old elegy popular in Han Dynasty/汉朝...
