Well, from what I understand there's some white men who end up looking towards asian women because they believe that they would make better spouses because of stereotypes such as "asian women are more traditional, submissive, will cook for you unlike white women these days, etc". I hate to put it so bluntly but those types usually are total social failures in the west too, especially the ones who go overseas for the sake of finding an asian woman. But like you mentioned, I think it has something to do with just plain self-hate. The mothers expect their mixed child to look less "asian" and more white and so does the father. Creating a very negative outlook for the child on his/her asian heritage in most cases. It's a little depressing just how much people from all over the world are influenced by western/white beuty standards, to the point where they don't want themselves or their children to be who they are anymore.

And you are the first person from china i have met in this site XD Nice to meet you too.. i dont really believe in tantrism, well i dont like believing in anything, i am a person who works on logics so i like knowing things (belief is an emotion). But i do like meditation, and i think what people experience through tantrism are probably the lucid state of meditation (ie. its not real, but dream like). what is your opinion of tantrism? :P
