godspell @godspell I've never wanted to read Dr. Slump lol But dragonball sets the standard of all shonen that came after. It's an easy to read story. Everyone who says there's no plot is on acid lol The saiyan namek and cell saga are fantastic reads. DragonBall super has been amazing too

godspell @godspell If war devil here for chainsawman. The other 3 aren't far behind. And Kobeni has not been shown to use her devil at all. And she's deathly afraid of dying and does whatever she can to avoid it. It's highly unlikely to have survived the events of the arc. Unless she has a contract with death to avoid her demise

Lamby @momoichi was based. but why were powers boobs so big on the op too!! too big! awesome seeing future but why include him and kishibe? they wont be til season 2. same with angel and beam and printz. if its just a nod to manga readers though, i approve. nice seeing them, though kishibe kinda seemed shitty? idk he didnt seem designed or animed very well, cant say why. also overload of flimsy symbolism in the op was a bit much. otherwise was great, the othewise great style and animation outweighed the cgi, and denji's voice actor was annoyin initially it got better in the end. thogh makima having a moe voice is unforgiveable.

Lamby @momoichi the beginning was good, the door opening and blood coming out as he solved it. so iu think pre inside the pain world will be good. but inside will be a toss of the dice

godspell @godspell Yes if the story isn't cohesive. The characters aren't likeable it can really hurt. But I feel pretty food about it. This world is set in the same universe. I'm very happy with the designs and orginal cenobite. The box can change form according to that notebook she steals they mean things

Lamby @momoichi my main issue is as i stated before, the original hellraiser was great because the centibites were not the antagonist. they were the consequence of the real antagonist, the uncle. thats how they should stay. not a presence to be overcome, but avoided

Lamby @momoichi right? the main issue with hellraiser two was the aunt wasnt NEARLY as threatening in the end as the uncle, so they had to lean on the centibite drama. the movie really fell off around that mark, which sucks because it was really promising at the start

Lamby @momoichi centibites are great because of how threatening they are, but to show them more is to force the protagonist to overcome them which breaks that looming fear.

Lamby @momoichi but not as threatening in the end as the uncle. the uncle was this looming manipulative force, and the fact that someone as spooky as HIM would be scared of the centibites made THEM even scarier by proxy

Lamby @momoichi would be kool to see the uncle in one of the sequels, maybe they already did that though
