Lamby @momoichi the fight in the beginning kinda has that feel? because of the kimono and environment probably, but it more reminded me of bungo stray dogs personally with the whole murder thing (that being said, i never finished bungo stray dogs, so take that comparison with a grain of salt)

Lamby @momoichi people are saying that nomad is better but i kinda disagree. the beginning was but i think it kinda falls somewhat mid season. still a great watch despite that, but the og megalo was one of my favorite animes. only thing i dislike was that the point was 'gearless joe' when the gears were the koolest fucking thing, why would you just make it regular boxing? I get the point of gearless joe, the ultimate underdog story ect ect, but gears are so fucking kool. I wanted it to be like air gear, how they mod their skates and such. that would have made it top 3 best anime.

Lamby @momoichi he couldnt initially but for joe it was always about him doing it himself. his gears didn't even work. even when he had the resources he turned them down, he never wanted to use gears, he had to because of the rules. imo that's lame. like i appreciate its joe wanting to use his own power and through that does he become the ultimate champ, but gears were soooo kooooool.
