godspell

godspell @godspell Well i sent you one reason why on discord XP

godspell @godspell Not at all xD darn i sent you a webtoon link to read lol

Lamby @momoichi nuh, fuck webtoons.

godspell @godspell XD nooo there are good ones

Lamby @momoichi probz but the art and, like, the sheen of them? idk how to describe but theyr shiny almost. plus most of them are korean and chinese, and im not interested in having to learn those kinda weird ass names

godspell @godspell Awww I think most are easy. Well the ones i read anyway

godspell @godspell I think youd enjoy lore of Olympus

Lamby @momoichi koreans have really unique names and pronouncing chinese names is really difficult

Lamby @momoichi im into psychologicals and gore. only webtoon i really enjoyed was killing stalking, so it would have to be like that

godspell @godspell Oh darn. Its more of a romance with supernatural myths. Bc its the romance of hades and persephone being prevented by others. As well as the application of dark themes like rape. Depression. Abuse

godspell @godspell It's also a modern take like they've lived for centuries into the modern world

Lamby @momoichi idk, im not really into romances if they arent comedies. and im really not into that kinda mythos in media anymore when its personifications of the gods. just feels super over done

godspell @godspell The one I've been obsessing over currently is the boxer

godspell @godspell The boxer starts off a kid starving on the side of the road. Eyes dead sees a guy who looks like the sun to him. High school time and he's being bullied with this other kid training to be a boxer but he's weak.

godspell @godspell A famous couch notices the main that he can see the punches with his eyes. But chooses not to dodge bc he sees no point. He doest see a reason but to just exist. Until he's getting beaten and the weak guy tries to save him but gets smacked around by 3rd mc

godspell @godspell He sees that light once again. And ends up fighting them all. Then takes up the couches offer as long as he pays the medical bills

Lamby @momoichi meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh

godspell @godspell I have no idea what that is besides meh XD

Lamby @momoichi idc about it xD killing stalking o ly good webtoon!!

godspell @godspell I guess :/ Hope you enjoy your book. Whats it about

Lamby @momoichi sorry sorry, just really not into that stuff. its by stephen king, so im surprised you havent heard about it. tldr a shop appears in a small town that has great stuff for super cheap, but you gotta do the shop keep a favor. these favors are weird af, like throwing a rock in a window or stealing some flowers from a garden. because of all these odd occurrences the town people are pissed at eachother and it goes to chaos. turns out the shop keep is the devil and his shop 'needful things' is mocking humans, so are needy and greedy af. really great story, loved the movie and the book is even more detailed about the relationships that the townies have

godspell @godspell Isn't this the rick and morty episode with the devil shop keeper just evil vintage items

Lamby @momoichi yup, except the items didnt have a monkey paw curse, though some were enchanted i think to make the people really want them enough to fuck with their neighbors. that was a great ep of rick and morty. i miss rick and morty ._.

godspell @godspell I do too. Idk when it'll come back. Must be hard to create

godspell @godspell btw are you at all into mortal Kombat as a movie

Lamby @momoichi i dont know the lore but i like gore. i heard the new movie coming out is good

godspell @godspell I would like to think it is. Its rated R has some new lore but who knows

Lamby @momoichi its about this battle royal tournament right?

godspell @godspell As every first movie yes XD a tournament between earth realm vs outer realm. Earth realm loses means they can invade. If earth wins they'll never invade until the next tournament

godspell @godspell I wanna do that bc idk. Like always japan probably has superior camping experiences

Lamby @momoichi maybe, they seem to be a pretty considerate culture so its probz cleaner (then again mnt fuji is dirty af so maybe not?)

godspell @godspell we'll just have to see the better trails to follow

Lamby @momoichi yeah

godspell @godspell can we live there for a year

Lamby @momoichi probz not, the immigration there is strict af, and its pretty pricey in the city to rent

godspell @godspell Yeah but im sure we can get jobs there

Lamby @momoichi idk how easy it is to get a work visa. i am studying japanese and hiragana though, so maybe i could teach english there :P

godspell @godspell That would be nice. Get a teaching certification that's applicable overseas

godspell @godspell no havent had a chance since I've been busy today

Lamby @momoichi ooh i see, the restaurant?

godspell @godspell no other things at home. Then gotta go to work in 10 minutes

Lamby @momoichi oh, the intern place?

godspell @godspell No. I still haven't been called in. Also my check hasn't been sent either kinda sucks

Lamby @momoichi aah, and damn. maybe there really busy

godspell @godspell Probably not idk. I should start applying somewhere else

Lamby @momoichi yeah you should, see whats goin out ion other places, dont let that degree go to waste!

godspell @godspell It probably will but im trying not to be a waste

Lamby @momoichi are you willing to let it go to waste that easy?

godspell @godspell Not really no. But its very hard to get a job in Tennessee

godspell @godspell Like the only email from my advisor for job opportunities is that same place for a job

Lamby @momoichi i mean didnt you consider that when working toward your degree?

godspell @godspell Yes and no. I was hoping after 6 years therell be more jobs in Tennessee requiring my degree. But not really. I need to move out

Lamby @momoichi thats a long ass time xD have you researched any areas that cater to that kind of degree?

godspell @godspell Yes there are 20 different jobs and more. But not here.

godspell @godspell I'm hoping there's at least a pharmaceutical job out here but online not really showing me results

godspell @godspell I will keep trying. But I need to stop feeling pressured I don't feel healthy from it

Lamby @momoichi look at jobs outside your state

godspell @godspell I'll do that later after work probably

godspell @godspell is it a gangster day care center

Lamby @momoichi fuck yeah *puts on cool guy sunglasses*

Lamby @momoichi its not, its a kids show

Lamby @momoichi it being a day care would be hilarious too though

godspell @godspell a kid show?? Are they in charge of making it

Lamby @momoichi you gotta read to find out >W>!!!

godspell @godspell I want to now

godspell @godspell I have never seen this. But I already like it

godspell @godspell it could still be

Lamby @momoichi maybe if the anime takes off. tetsu is husbando, but hes taken so he is forbiden fruit.

godspell @godspell Yeah i wouldn't touch this one

Lamby @momoichi you dont think tetsu would make a great husband?! its even shown what a great husband he is in the manga xD?! who doesnt want an ex yakuza hubby that can cook and clean?!

Lamby @momoichi hng that tattooed back. i wanna wash it and then lick it and then wash it again

godspell @godspell no i mean I wouldn't husbando him. He's taken and it's wholesome
