How is the coursework in animation? Are you far into your program?
FukboiFrasia @frasia2162 I have not been into an animation course long (i only graduated high school last year).
The college courses are very basic and its stuff i already did under internships and learned from youtube tutorials.

And since college you have to take starter classes before you get anywhere with your other classes, i have to wait before taking actual animation classes. And it will be 3D animation.

What conventions would you recommend to go to in the Dallas-Fort Worth area?
FukboiFrasia @frasia2162 If you want a CONVENTIONal experience, then i would say A-kon.
its one of the largest conventions in America.
It will give you the most bang for your buck in terms of panels, guests, experience and Dealers room.
For a first timer at a convention that needs to take it slow, Anime North Texas was pretty fun for panel sake and ability to interact with others but it is MUCH smaller than other DFW conventions.
San japan and Anime Matsuri are also really well known and worth the go by.They are also in the top 10 largest anime conventions of 2015.

Oh yeah, a while ago I found a... not sure if it was a tutorial or just a demo of a DS charger that runs of solar panels hooked on to the system. Problem is, the screen isn't really bright enough to play well in direct sunglight. xD
