Thank you for the comments. Yes Sharlto Copley and Neil Blomkamp actually met in High School in South Africa. When Blomkamp was 18 his family moved to Vancouver, where he learned about film and special effects. Sharlto Copley is a good actor and he is getting a fair amount of roles now. He is the voice of the robot in this one. Sigourney Weaver and Hugh Jackman is also in it so I think it'll be great. Blomkamp is doing the Alien 5 movie next so you'll have to wait it out for that Sistrict 9 sequel unfortunately.

Thanks for the love for South Africa. Hope it doesn't sound to corny but in South Africa the weather is nice and the people are friendly. There are problems like corruption and crime but the figures for those are seemingly going down. I can understand that some people could confuse a South African and Australian accents. South Africans and Australians interact interact quite regularly so we probably influenced each other's accents at some point. Neil Blomkamp's films have done a lot to focus global attention on South Africa. Most people didn't know a lot about South Africa before District 9. Did you hear about Blomkamp's next film, Chappie? Its apparently coming out in March this year and is set again in Johannesburg (South Africa).

Yes, it would be quite uncomfortable to wear Revy's shorts for hours on end. I would have liked to have helped you but unfortunately I would only be able to cosplay Rock. I don't think a physical face off between Rock and Roberta would be as entertaining :)

Hahaha, began wondering where you were going with that thought ;) I think it would be an awesome cosplay to do. Someone should also do Revy and then you could reenact the epic fight between them at the shipping wharf.
