I prefer manga over than anime. I like reading and compiling the books. The story line is the same in both formats, but I think that manga is more intense. Usually, anime is a commercial format because the producers get rid of the unpleasent/controversial/shocking parts. Anyway, since manga sometimes has disturbing or sad chapters, changing these parts in the anime is welcomed. For example, in Lady Georgie's manga the ending is tragic... but they rewrited the last part of the story in the anime. Thanks god! There is no need to suffer twice. Also, I prefer manga style than anime because it's more crafted. Sometimes, manga style is a total work of art.
