That would be really funny if one watched two really similar anime and got the plots mixed up. Like for instance the Digimon and Pokemon plots. Gotta catch all the digital monsters, lol. It makes sense though to watch anime from different genres to keep them distinctive and separate in one's mind.

That's very cool that you can multitask like that. Usually I can only watch one anime at a time. It would be very difficult for me to juggle multiple anime :) It make sense that one of the characters was named Edogawa Ranpo because he was a very famous Japanese author. Edogawa Ranpo was actually the author's pseudonym and it's a rendering of Edgar Allan Poe.

It depends on my mood if I'm going to watch a darker or more light-hearted show. It's always good to have options. Some shows are dark and light-hearted at times like Durarara!!. Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace is an anime that is inspired by the works of the Japanese mystery writer Edogawa Ranpo. It does look interesting.
