Lishifu @hakutaku That disease isn’t as serious as flu. Don’t worry. In fact, people here are in a panic as if the virus is fatal. I calmed down quickly after seeing all the dead are old people who had several diseases. It is a pity that many people got traumatized because of the videos where medical staff cry in despair (which makes sense though. Those doctors and nurses could have enjoyed the lunar new year, but now they have to face emotionally unstable/panicked patients in their hospitals).

☠BΣΉΣЯIƬ✴ @beherit I understand it's not like the black death come again, but people including some governments have overreacted to the outbreak (in contrast to the resurfacing of ebola last year), but I'm glad everything is okay.

Lishifu @hakutaku Yeah, I read comments on YouTube about the virus.. Some people obviously overreacted to the outbreak.. and their lack of intelligence/ignorance “astonished” me again, for example the rumor that “ bat soup is normal in China (it can be a national dish in an Asian country named Palau. In China, most people find it disgusting)/The Chinese eat everything (okay in China people jokingly say Cantonese eat everything)

☠BΣΉΣЯIƬ✴ @beherit I saw the same thing. Never heard of "bat soup" until some people brought it up on instagram. I can see people living in rural parts of Asia eating things like bats if there is nothing else to eat, but as a delicacy among people who live in urban areas? I don't think so...

Lishifu @hakutaku A few curious and rich people may fall for lies like bat soup is good for your health made up by businessmen, as a result, they taste that weird soup.
