Yeah, I agree, humidity makes heat no fun-but as you mentioned, swimming is a good way to beat it. Cascade bay is pretty fun if you've ever been there (it's in Eagan) and it's about the only "decent" outdoor waterpark I can think of around here. If you like those things. Or else there are much cheaper (or free) bodies of water/lakes that are nice middle-grounds. I can imagine why one might want to stay indoors more often. Some people are just more fond of the indoors too. I can go both ways, there's always places to explore indoors and out. Winter isn't certainly a time for excessive outdoor exploring that's for sure and neither are humid summer days. The cities could definitely use some improvement in regards to "indoor activity" department imo. But then again, I could probably look more too. Anything you recommend? In regards to activities? Or even anime? I'm always open to suggestions. Are you more of a cat person by chance? It's totally irrelevant but I'm just curious, I was going to ask before. I imagine so but wouldn't want to assume wrongly. I lean more towards dogs but they're generally more playful and got me outside originally which is probably why. If a cat is friendly and is really playful I can like them just as much. I've seen some really either are really humid summer days. Though I will say I don't know if the cities are particularly that well suited for indoor activities. adventurous cats lol.

Glad you liked it too! xD This summer (preview-wise) looked to be a series of blockbusters unlike the last which kinda sucked. That's something you could always do! Or if it's too much there's always hulu, firestick etc. Swimming is fun especially when you can do it outside! Though I'll second the not being huge on summer stuff if that's what you mean. Mainly when its 80+ and humid that's no fun. Winter isn't much better...MN is just nuts lol. I've considered moving to Seattle (possibly Vancouver) in the future since its pretty nice minus overcast winter(s). If allergies aren't bugging ya too bad do you like exploring parks or anything outside? Or do you like sticking to watching anime and doing that type of stuff regardless of the season?

No problem. I just got back from a week-long end of term work trip (it was fun but very unorganized lol). So I've been busy as well. What have you been up to? I just got around to seeing Guardians of the Galaxy 2 today, have you seen that yet? It was awesome! Baby Groot ftw! x) Any plans for the weekend? At least school is getting done for lots of people and its finally getting nicer out. For better or worse depending on the type of seasons one likes I suppose. Hope you're doing well!

They suck a lot! lol But totally worth it...ya know...eventually. Plus soon it will be once a month which won't be so bad and I figure after 3 years total I won't have to deal with my allergies till I'm 50+ which is a nice trade-off. I cold never give myself shots though...those people are crazy o.O My weekend has been awesome! And this one as well since its been a week! (sorry for a late-ish reply lol) Yesterday we were marking geese nests which was a pretty chill day...we got a pretty good game of "mafia" going after lunch which was fun (the circle mystery solving version if ya know what that is, kind of a summer camp-ish game I guess). Today, went and saw a movie. What have you been up to? Hopefully, allergies haven't been too bad :/ if yours were anything like mine at least the rain helps for a bit. Fingers crossed summer gets better! Or at least my shots will kick in...still really grateful I don't have animal allergies though! ^-^

Ah maybe not my suggestion then, depends on your allergies but that might make them worse. I'm in the process of getting allergy shots and its my first year of dealing with em but I have em pretty bad so I can probably relate a bit...they suck indeed. Hope you're having a good week and are able to have some fun this weekend then! ^-^

Aww that sucks I hope you feel better soon! I've been battling a cold on top of allergies so that's fun lol. Anyway let me know when you're feeling better, be sure to find a fluffy animal or plushie to cuddle with if you don't already have one till you're better! x3 Also, thanks for the link to the site. I'll check it out!

True! I used to kinda know someone that worked there through highschool so I stopped in a few times lol. But things are always so pricey I usually just look ^^' in highschool I was obsessed with getting the keychains and plushies though. Still do pick up stuff I shouldn't. Anime eagle is in oakdale and that's pretty close to me...or else some gaming stores have anime stuff if I really want to look which is always cool. Any type of merch you're fond of? Wish my friends (and a few relatives) were that generous lol. We tend to skip gifts except those I'm really close to or we just send gift cards/money I guess. Any fun holiday traditions? The con tickets aren't bad alone. A few nights we actually camped out in the vehicle (it works but have a plan). Do that and ya save quite a bit...but depends on the people and lots of things I suppose. Moral of the story though you can make conventions or even traveling wherever work if you're determined! x3 Sounds cool! Won't have to pick a subject than which is nice. On the flip side, you'd have to teach English (which would be my worst nightmare haha)...but nice diversity. Yesterday was a prep day and my crew was preparing a booth event for Earth day tomorrow. Our park assignment is apparently a pretty busy location and some pretty important people are visiting. My crew is just excited because of a) they get to "be in charge" and b) "free food" It's a pretty chill week (physically) and everyone's been pretty happy about it. What are you up to this weekend? How far out is it? I'll ask my friend but atm I don't have plans sorry. Detour has been my only con (with one exception). I went to university in ND and all my buddies were from around there hence detour attendance. Conveniently I made a friend that liked similar stuff before which was awesome because I wouldn't attend a con alone (no fun imo). Anyway, I'd be interested in hearing more about it since I really don't know much about the convention. Hope you have an awesome weekend! :D

Nice, did you use detour to stock up on sweets then? Probably not, they get quite pricy and you can find them elsewhere I guess. But they are fun to pick up. I always have a fun time watching people try and figure out how to open the Japanese soda bottles...for some reason they tend to cause trouble ^^' Pocky ftw! I like the hotel idea but they are so expensive and booking them in advance too is tough for cons. Idk, I guess being in university and having friends who weren't too big on staying that late (myself included) we never booked anything. Guess we just opted to save money for road trips and other silly things instead lol. But if you have the money for it live your dreams totally! :] That's awesome! Do you have a particular subject in mind? Any idea what age you want to teach once you graduate? I like working with kids (above a certain age) I just don't think I could handle em 24/7 lol (plus I'm already around animals which are essentially are more "well-behaved" kids). But I'm currently finishing up my term for Americorps and most of my assignments involve my youth crew (highschool age students). On other days I can end up working with or teaching any age really. I'm usually leading outdoor education or resoration projects. Can't say I do all that well teaching (or in general) in a classroom setting so I really admire that. You'd really have a chance to make an impact! ^^

Yeah, dogs do need quite a bit of attention for sure! Calicos are awesome too. I like those variations of colors. They are true four legged pieces of art. Pho soup is magical. I choose chicken for the meat. It's a Vietnamese soup with rice noodles, onion, mint sprigs, basil, mung bean sprouts, salts, spices, and other things. It's one of my favorites. Only downside is that it isn't all that filling for me. I will be going alone. It would be awesome if you could come! I'd be happy to meet up with you. :)
