Most people just roll their eyes and tell me I should do it anyway, so I'm glad to hear someone say it as though not trying 'just because' I'm afraid is wrong. I respect people who are willing to drive, since it's an amazing responsibility not only for anyone inside your car, but everyone you pass on the way to where you're headed.

Unwillingness. I can be on the scatterbrained side, and the first time I attempted to get behind the wheel I nearly ran the car through my friend's home. Far too nervous to try again. Then I add to it that I'm not even 5 feet tall, and have no peripheral vision in my left eye... It makes me far too nervous to drive. It's too much responsibility in my hands.

Yeah... I can't even afford to go to cons, unfortunately. The unwillingness to drive limits job possibilities, especially in a place where people that -can- drive aren't getting jobs at the moment. So right now, getting some friends is the best I can do. I was never so great at keeping any back in my school days.

Basically a relationship that I had hoped might happen fell through. It never really stood a chance to happen, but I pretty much remembered then my otherwise lack of friends, so... Searching for a place where I could meet people that would share those interests, I found this place. Since the pace seems to be rather slow, I think it'll be just fine. I get too lost if everything goes too quickly.
