I collected Pokemon cards when I was young and they were new, until they were stolen and supposedly sold by my sister's boyfriend at the time. I never really cared to collect anything after that. She did later on in life return a few that were taken, a shadowless Charizard, Blastoise, and Zapdos from the first set. I've been holding on to them, but I have no motivation to collect them at this point. I just play the game with all the newer cards now.
