I have it. Haven't played in forever though. What sucks is I just moved and don't remember where I packed my stupid charger. Have everything else but not the most important part.

I've kinda taken a break from VNs honestly, like I dunno I used to read a lot of them but after playing YU-NO I kinda lost motivation to read anything else. That game was seriously a wild ride and it kinda gave me that empty feeling that you get after a you finish a good book, manga, anime, movie, etc and I just dropped everything on my backlog.
I'd seriously recommend it to anyone who likes VNs, it's old but really ahead of it's time.

I don't really have a preference with age but if I had to choose then from 20-30. 18-19 should be ok if she was mentally mature. Her personality would be more important than her age. I've seen really mature 18 year old's and really immature people in their late 20's and up.
