Dude, I just found my new favorite animal. I never knew North America had them, but have you ever heard of Prairie Penguins? They live in the Mississippi valley, and burrow in shallow holes during the summer months, only to surface in the autumn and winter months. They're somewhat rare, and known to be very top heavy, so they aren't the best at getting away from predators since they fall over a lot. But they're very interesting creatures. The Pekopawa Indians somewhat revered them, since they stood as somewhat of a symbol of endurance in the desolate winter flatlands. Surviving in spite of their malfitted evolutionary disadvantages.
