Hey Chase, I'd like to give some advice and hope it serves you well. I think you should read "the five love languages" by Gary Chapman. It might not help you find/attract anyone but I think it'll help you once you get into a relationship. Now I'm not the best at attracting people or finding the right people to attract in the first place. But, I don't think your problem is that you're too nice. I think you don't know how to sell yourself. Maybe listen to "sell or be sold" by Grant Cardone on audio book it should help out a lot. Last thing, I read on your profile that you have depression and anxiety. If it is severe (having a daily effect on your life) consult a doctor and get on some mild meds if you haven't already. They will help stabilize you and your emotions will be easier to control. Hope you take my suggestions to heart man :)

Open and honest communication about the disability is sooo important. Also, it'd be a good idea to do some research to get a better understanding of their hardships. Keep your ability to handle their disability in mind because if you can't handle it then it might be best to step back from it. But at first give it a shot and see how you feel about them after awhile. :) hope it all works out well.

Since we already have a thread on cliches we hate, how about cliches in anime that you love? The tropes I can never get tired of when it comes to anime is the first OP playing during the last battle/climax, the old "MC's rival turns good and turns out to be a total bro"-thing, or the final battle just boiling down to a fistfight. :V
