Competitive multiplayer games honestly bore me to be totally honest - unless it's something like Doom, Quake, Unreal Tournament, Serious Sam, Nexuiz, TimeSplitters or heck even FEAR Combat (and even then I play them on a very rare basis, but gosh are they fun) then I'm pretty much completely uninterested. There are outliers like Killzone 2 and 3, Singularity, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine and Red Orchestra 2 but otherwise I'm generally uninterested going head to head with other players. I do enjoy playing games in co-op with a friend or a small group of friends; stuff like Left 4 Dead 2, Killing Floor, Warframe, etc and recently started playing Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - so stuff where I can work together with friends is definitely nice, especially when I prefer playing as a tank/support role.

Im not as bored as i usually am, and i find myself talking more in rl ever since i joined. I dont know why, i guess its just since the filter came off in here its started to come off in rl. Still trying to figure out if thats a positive thing or not.

I've heard of Higurashi. That's like that horror comedy anime or something along those lines? Elfen Lied seems to be a mixed bag. Some like it then there are others who don't from what I know. Never really piqued my interest enough to see that one. Anyways good anime... I've been watching The Slayers for a good while. I'm really enjoying it a good deal. It's a fun 90's fantasy anime with lots of fourth of the wall humor and fun characters, good storytelling. I've got to get to Slayers Next afterwards. XP

From my experience, online friends are around to hear ya out when you feel the need to vent about serious problems bugging you, and of course talk about fandom stuff. I've had difficulty finding irl friends that I could do that with.
