My personal favourite experience is when one of my players ended up staying the night flirting with this high priestess, going along with her affection the whole time and even suggesting it back. Following morning they get up and all seems fine, until he realises she only has porridge to offer him for breakfast, at which point he flips the table on her and runs. This priestess is also a hardcore yandere and high priestess for the Raven Queen. That was an interesting plotline that nearly got the whole party murdered.

Are you in your early teens or something? If you're the shy type, that's seen as a form vulnerability and the predator types go after those they perceive as vulnerable. That is not too say however, every person interested in the shy types are potential predators, some maybe shy themselves and just want someone to relate to. It sucks you've only had bad relationships so far, but perhaps try finding out more about a guy's past dating life before agreeing to trying a relationship with them. Try asking around, see if they're the shitty "player" type, a thirsty asshole, or if they are genuinely a nice person who's interested in you for the right reasons.
