Hi all! This is more or less a repeat of my "info" page, so if anyone already read it there, sorry for repeating myself. <p> I'm a physicist living in the Atlanta area. I finished my Ph.D last September in a much colder part of the country, and moved down here for a postdoc at one of the area Universities. I'm still learning to cope with the heat. <p> I've been a fan of anime, and Japanese pop culture in general, for a few years now. I've long been a science fiction fan and was aware of anime, but it wasn't until a friend gave me "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" that I really became a <b>Fan</b> with a capital <b>F</b>. It's only grown and spread since then! I'm currently trying to learn Japanese via the <a href="http://www.alljapaneseallthetime.com/blog/all-japanese-all-the-time-ajatt-how-to-learn-japanese-on-your-own-having-fun-and-to-fluency">"all Japanese all the time"</a> method. It's been going much much slower than I'd like, but I certainly know more than I used to. <p> My favorite series tend to be in the slice-of-life/healing genres (shows like Hidamari Sketch, K-On, Aria, last season's Acchi Kocchi, ...) though that's certainly not all I watch. And I'm happy to discuss pretty much anything! <p> Anyway, I'm here looking to make some friends who share my interests. And if one of those friendships should happen to develop into something more... well, I certainly wouldn't complain ^_^

Title says it. I decided to make one however. I am the type of person that will go to the end of the line to help someone out. In terms of alignment charts I am a True Neutral. I love Comedy/Harem/Supernatural Anime.(My grammar is problem all broken, but it's 2 A.M. and I haven't been getting sleep.) I grew up very lonely and with terrible friends that caused me to have some problems. I do not accept basic answers (I wish I could sometimes) as in I always try to find a deeper meaning to something. I am very investigative. Now for some good things if I haven't scared you off. I am a very cheerful person, I will always try to be positive for my friends. At the moment I am single, however this is a dating site... I'm not always looking for a relationship. I wish to help people more than myself. I hope to make friends with all of you.

I have been writing randomly, posting on Facebook, other stuffs. This is my first post. Here are three. If life was easy, then life wouldn't be worth living. If everything is given to you you would not respect it. When you work your hardest to achieve a goal you feel good about that accomplishment. So if life had no accomplishments you would just be bored till you die, no reason to move towards excellence or the goals laid ahead of you. Spend more time as something you are instead of something you're not. At the end of the day no one will care ,but you. Everyone has their inner angels and devils. We do not have a cricket telling or singing about right and wrong. You have to choose your own path... It can either lead to success or failure. The prices can be minimal or fatal. You will have to find out for yourself.

Miyazaki films represent most of my childhood to me as well as my previous teenage years. All of his works that i've seen are beautifully written and drawn in my opinion. And even his works that i don't favor i admire because of all the work that has gone into them :3
