Schizzo i am more talking about ones that do have some fan service like say... sekirei, suffle, and things like that. if they are only fan service. i dont think they are because some of them i really like as you may see on my anime list. some of them have some really good characters. also the plots/stories i have found to be very interesting. i posted this topic after one of my fellow otaku friends was razzing me about liking them

depends on what you are looking for Action, Drama, Comedy, Romance? One of the most interesting new series airing atm is Sword Art Online. PLayers are trapped in a mmorph where they have to clear the game to get out. If they try to escape or die in the game they die in real life.

as i see it some young people rush into "love". but to me what some people are calling "love" is not real love. real love is not "omg i love you baby, you are perfect<3(recent example from someone in my school!!" after only like a week together. love is something completely different than that(at least in my mind), love is when two people care for each other on another level, it is when they are your best friend, when you can see them for their faults and love their faults because it is a part of who they are, where you two don't need to say a word to know how they feel, but will say it anyway.

For a male otaku over the age of 25 it is REALLY hard to find an otaku girlfriend. Very few girls in our generations are otaku. With the younger crowds being otaku is more acceptable amongst females and therefore there are more of them, but when we were younger it was even more of a fringe thing than it is now. If you watch the "newest users" that pop up you'll notice that if you average out the ages that the males joining are around 10 years older than the females as a whole. And unlike in the cultures from which our beloved anime/manga come from, they aren't open to men who are more than a few years older than they. But, who knows, maybe there will be an influx of older females.
