anime first because i really enjoy all the details, ie. the vioce actors giving a character life, colors and simply details, but if the anime was really good i read the manga which usually blows me out the water, like with gantz and elfen lied.
Ga-rei zero is a prequel to the manga Ga-rei so that worked out perfectly

i would say yagami raito (deathnote) but he's probably to evil for the part so my preference would go to ryuuga hideki a.k.a L or also lelouch but partly cuz he reminds me of yagami raito but less evil :P

I would say star wars except for episode 1, Lord of the Rings set, any movie from Akira Kurosawa, The Terminal, Lost in Translation and any Arnold Schwarzenegger movies to name a few/general movies.

Yes there are 2 of them o_O. The first one is almost exactly the same as the first half of series. but the second one...The final battle is completely changed. Animation is significantly made better and some of the other scenes (arc gurren lagann vs moon and super galaxy gurren lagann battle) were played out alot better *ends fanboy hype*
