Well Pacific rim had very little in way of marketing so they are hoping that word of mouth will drive it's sales further. The first week was Fan Boys they say and next week the reviews (which were positive) will drive others to see it.. and I hear that the Robotech LA movie is already in works so lets hope Eva is close behind.
