Technically anime are cartoons in that they're animated and meant for entertainment. They can be for both children and adults, or just for adults. There's a large variety of 'em. Cartoons can also be serious ("Watership Down", anyone? "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"? A bit much for kids) yet most cartoons that are produced outside of Japan are made to be suitable for children and are thus aimed at them.

So how about that Hyrule Warriors game coming out from the creator of Dynasty Warriors? They're expecting it to have a big roster of characters from The Legend of Zelda. Anyone hoping they'll have any specifically playable characters?
