This is one of the biggest anime gathings on the west coast all year. Last year over 20,000 attendees for the four day event. Starts July 2nd Thursday to Sunday July 5th.

COMPLETELY RANDOM TOPIC TIME! For those who play any sort of CCG or TCG, what is your preferred brand/type of card sleeves? Dragon Shield? Ultra Pro? KMC? Legion? Monster Protectors? Other? As for me, I play Weiss Schwarz and aside from the Bushiroad character sleeves, I quite like how KMC sleeves fit on the WS cards, better than Dragon Shield but only relative to double-sleeving Weiss Schwarz (DS tends to fit Magic and other western TCG's VERY well). Sadly, KMC tends to be hard to get in the US (since it's a Japanese brand) and as such, is a little more pricy compared to other brands. But the fit and finish is hard to beat for a TCG like Weiss. So how about the rest of you? Preferred sleeve brand(s)?

I'd like to try going for at least a day. Preferably Friday or Saturday of course since I had fun when I last went about 2 years ago. But it will have to be a matter of finding a ride since my car got totaled earlier on this year. >.< Anyhoo, No set cosplay in mind since I've had other things to worry about and because I'm not too skilled in that department but It'd still be fun. :)

Yes, It is a tad expensive. I am using swagbucks to earn up the money for either my first costume or sewing dummy. There are so many options to try to cosplay as. I can't make up my mind. I mean I could be Elsa from Frozen since I saw so many Annas. Kinda want Anna's correlation dress. I could be Riku from kingdom hearts since I saw someone as Sora but no Riku and this could give the chance to the sora cosplay to act out that scene from Kingdom hearts when he finally finds Riku. Anyone from black bluter would be awesome. But Sesshomaru would be cool too. Or a sailor scout. So many choices. So little funds. I will so be someone next year. What do you think I should be?

I actually just found out about how awesome Zelda is, about 3 months back. Downloaded link to the Past and I was stunned at how easy it was to feel like Link xD

Bought my ps4 mostly for Silent Hills which was a huge letdown and I started cursing the hell out of Konami when I heard the news. Still, I did discover the 16-bit retro games on the psn and I am enjoying my ps4. I think it's all about the indies. And the ps3 releases I've heard they do play better on ps4. There's also until dawn, doom, ffxv coming up.
