I usually do a vegan diet and/or no sweets (minimum sugar) diet and increase my daily workout load for about a month or two depending on situation (or which con it is).

Yep, totes feel you on that. But I keep reminding myself that the 30s really isn't THAT old and seniors would laugh at you for thinking that. And you'll only be as old as you believe you are. So.. if you think you're old at 30, then you'll act old at 30, maybe let yourself go, and so on. I've met super adorable and lovely people in their 50s and 60s who enjoy life and don't think themselves as just 'old'. I look up to those kinds of people. And yeah, I had/probably still have the quarter life crisis mentality since I'm still not settled in a career or bought my own house or (-__-)... got married yet. What helps me is that I always remember that you never know what life will throw at you and life is what you make of it. If you want to hook up with someone, you'll have to put yourself out there. If you want to be happy, enjoy life now, no matter what you have or don't have. I understand it can be so difficult to think this way at times but sometimes you just HAVE to have an optimistic outlook on life and be happy now.

There's a chance I might end up having to wear glasses or contacts - bad eyesight kinda runs in the family, my mom, dad and brothers have to wear glasses and just me and my sister don't; for now. But if it comes to that kind of thing I would honesty choose to wear glasses, not only do I think they would be useful and much less of a pain to put on but I reckon, from trying on friends' glasses for fun, that I look pretty good in them. Or at least I think so.
