Some things that i like are learning languages, cooking, reading, theatre and singing.
I used to be the "only singing when taking a shower" person, but decided to take some lessons and join a choir. Most of the time im scared to death singing in front of people, but its very great as well :D

My dad's relative was in Nagasaki and he's in Hiroshima , he lost a lot of relative from the bombs. This topic shouldn't pick up to talking with Japanese tho.
