Harems, taboo hentai, etc. Have brought it into the mainstream anime a little more from playing cards with me and the other old otaku's in the dark corner of the room where we used to hang out together. That said I'm enjoying the fact it's becoming slightly more of a mainstream trope. Though most of it treads the brother/sister relationship as the parent/child is still considered more taboo. I have to say, when I first watched it in anime/hentai/manga I was a bit put off but after getting old and curmudgeon I've decided that it's whatever. If you're down with a bro/sis and they are to well have at it, as long as you're not raping and killing others I'm all for it... errr.. in anime.
