Not a feminist here but I may contribute to this thread by putting a graphic explanation in between equality and equity. http://interactioninstitute.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/IISC_EqualityEquity.png I think this answers perfectly the predicament of the OP.

If you have photoshop, use the type tool (it should like a T) Make a large type box using the type tool, and type the letter M in your preferred font. Highlight the M and adjust the size of the font by changing the point size make it big also make sure the font color is a solid color. right click on the text layer under you layer's panel and click rasterize object or rasterize text. the text box will have disappeared and the layer should look like a normal photoshop layer. Make a separate layer and click on it, then take your collage of manga panels and lay it over the M on a separate layer. Use the wand selection tool and click on the outside area of the M layer this should select everything but the m if your manga panels are on a single layer, then you may click that layer and hit CMD+X or CTRL+X to cut off the excess manga panels. you should now have manga panels in the shape of an M. If you weren't able to followed along, or my directions sucked let me know and I can do it, as it takes like 2 mins to do.
