Public Affection

@augos You haven't really listed any examples of what you're considering sleazy or acceptable. Maybe that's why there may seem to be some miscommunication because we can only guess at what your opinion of that threshold is. To answer your questions though, I don't get jealous when I see people do it. I may think that the time/place is inappropriate like say at some religious institution/event, or a funeral, stuff like that but if I see two people making out, I'd just kinda shrug and go on with my day. I feel like it speaks more about the observer who is bothered by the sight of it than the people engaging in it. In that so long as no laws are being violated and it's not a grossly inappropriate time/place, then it's really kinda your personal problem. Sometimes people just wanna be sickeningly loving, and sometimes they want to do that in public and that's fine. If I'm bothered by it, I won't look at it.

I understand what you're saying... When I'm not in a relationship like now and I see others happily kissing and holding hands, I get jealous and kind of sad. "Why can't that be me? Am I not good enough?" That's what I think. Public displays of affection... I enjoy the thought of someone loving me enough to show the world... Sometimes too much is just... too much. I get both sides of the argument.

I'm just saying. One person's sleazy isn't always another person's. There seems to have been a little disconnect earlier about kissing someone in public. You said kissing in public is ok, but like how passionately would a kiss be to be not ok with you? Obviously you're probably ok with like pecks, but a French kiss is bad? Or like when they're trying to lick each others tonsils out? Do you get what I'm saying? It's not a definition of sleazy. Everyone's idea of decency varies subtly after general ideas. Like sex in public is not decent and we can all accept that but French kissing is up in the air depending on who you ask

well ok for the record i'll say very specifically that some pecking is fine and any french kissing is not fine but i'm not gonna make a list right now of every kind of activity in this category

French kissing is far from what I would define as sleezy. The act of touching tongues as opposed to simply touching lips is about as sleezy as holding hands. There are no inappropriate parts of the body revealed to the general public, no groping of any of those said body parts, no profanity and no simulated sexual acts. Xueli hit the nail on the head when she said it was telling of the viewers personal beliefs and insecurities. A more extreme example would be the person who is mortified when they see a gay couple kissing in public.

personal beliefs yes, insecurities no people like you don't understand people like me and people like me don't understand people like you, let's just leave it at that and stick to the questions please instead of trying to prove which side is wrong because they are both right to their own parties

It's called Public Affection for a reason. Being public, you're entitled to get in on the action. It's awkward for the three of you, but so are the urinals in public restrooms. This one time I saw couple, the dude had is hands in his girl's pants while he kissed at her neck. So what I did was, I approached him from behind and wiggled my finger tips into his waistband. He said, "What the fuck is your problem!?", and I started kissing his neck. For a good three seconds we had a train going, then he elbowed me in the face. And that's how I became a sex offender.
