The kid's dad said it was minecraft

Specifically the kid's dad said that his child was acting out a character in minecraft

Also he's taking these items then pretending that they're items you use in the game. Which is what a lot of kids do when they're playing. That's probably why he brought those things to school and because those items can be considered weapons, he got in trouble. That's what I've been saying. It doesn't matter that there are no guns, knives or hammers in the game. He's using those things to pretend they are the things in the game. That's the only minecraft connection. You can't say Minecraft had no influence on this situation at all because he was literally acting out the game, but with items that aren't appropriate for a nine year old. I'm sure a lot of kids play minecraft, just like I'm sure a lot of kids might also act out minecraft in real life. Probably not with guns, knives, and hammers specifically, but I'm sure there are kids that act it out.

ugh, I hate the font that's default on the work computers. Makes me not want to read over what I typed in the text field :P

I'm gonna say it's much more likely that a nine-year old child is more prone to acting out situations with inappropriate items at an inappropriate location than a child willfully bring weapons to school knowing fully well what they're used for

I think you're looking for zebras when you're hearing horses

I haven't read anything but like the first post and the last two but imo, he should of just said he was LARPing and ended it with that.
