self confidence turn on or turn off

Self-confidence is kinda a turn off. Why should one be confident with oneself? What greater value do you have over other humans? Self-confidence can be just a milder version of arrogance. I'm not self-confident, but I'm not timid either. I merely lack fear of being shown my mistakes. Mistakes occur in the mind, whether or not they're realized by others is dependent on whether you manifest said mistakes. I'd rather learn from my mistakes then keep having them occur in my mind. One reason those "arrogant/stupid" older adults exist is because they were timid, but have now gained self-confidence. They were never proven wrong before, so they must be right. My short incomplete literary manifestation of my philosophy on the matter.

turn off :/ i dont like them full of confidence that their glowing lol it gets on my nerves too easily but if it in a joking mannerr maybe not but not a turn on either =_= just fun and giggles
