Hello everyone, I am a semi-hikikomori living in Nagoya, Japan. I recently moved here(like 3 months ago). I know a little nihongo(N3 bordering N2 level) I don't have friends so I just ended up locking myself in the house during weekends and right after work. I tried making friends outside but ended up failing and just getting picked up by guys in conventions when I cosplay here. Semi-hikikomori because although i have work and all, i don't really talk to anyone and I just came to hate socializing. Something like Tomoko's situation from Watamote. So I thought I could meet friends who love anime and games and cosplay here. I hope to anyway. @blazingbow1: I'm fine (sort of). "semi-hikikomori" is just something i came up with since I don't really shut myself in my apartment totally. Well, if I could I would but then I have to work. unfortunately. *sigh* It's so hard to make friends /cry

Hello jineko. I can relate to your situation, though I'm not sure in exactly the same way. I am also semi-hikikomori. The part I'm not sure of is if our arrival at this point is similar lol. In any case, I'm always looking for new friends :) Welcome to the site.
