Again, Gotham would be a wasteland if Batman had devoted his money to charities and politics. Some of these criminals were trying to level the city. And of course he doesn't want to kill them. Did you not see the end of the episode with Mr. FREEZE in the animated series? Baby doll? The Killing Joke? Batman wants to help these people become better.

i already said the animted series in the 90s was exclusively awesome and not to be mention if he really wanted to help he wouldnt use his fists but maybe work more for after school programs and rehabilitation and politics (i know he helped two face but i mean even more) and the police force

Money doesn't buy you happiness. And childhood trauma can stay with you far into your adulthood. You have a point with maybe some criminals but surely not all of them. There's a difference between desperate and stupid, and working with someone who has a HIGH probability of killing you because it was funny is stupid. Well since he can't kill and his opponents typically come with guns or other lethal weapons, better to make sure they can't pull the trigger or whatever. 9/10 times they get better. And because of that, we get more Joker shenanigans, which the audience loves. In universe though, he's afraid of becoming another murderer and losing what's left of his humanity. Plus some of the people he does beat up DO end up turning over a new leaf. And Bruce DOES make donations and fundings to all sorts of charities and trying to better Gotham. That's his day job, his night shift work involves stopping current crimes.

He has the Thomas and Martha Wayne foundation charities. He does help kids and orphans. But some of these criminals and events are just things ordinary police and even military cant handle. It takes batman who has trained his entire life to basically be superhuman.

oh but crippling someone is alright? at that point perhaps killing them is the better option superman has pretty much no relatives, his whole species is almost extinct..... but oh yeah batman poor baby i said he does donate, and im saying he should MORE instead of running around in tights imagine how much time that takes up???? if he focused on working on the community that perhaps he could make a difference as the amount of villains has only risen with him as a 'crime fighter'!!!

It's great that there are so many superheroes that cater to different tastes. I personally do enjoy Batman, but I can see what could put some off.

maybe if he donated and used his intelligence to help the police and military instead of himself then he wouldnt have to handle it all himself! the police are corrupt you say!? that has to do with politics and you can RULE politics with money!!

at least iron man doesnt give a damn batman is so self righteous and moody

Im not saying to feel sorry for the guy. Also Superman has a mother and father that raised him with love. So unless you got a beef with step parents and orphans reel that one back.
