I saw this on another Forum somewhere and I was wondering what everyone's opinion was. Is it really that big of a deal if after you break up with someone if you had specific pet names or places that you took them to is it really that wrong or messed up to take someone else and create new memories to those places or if you shared the same things that created those specific names to use those pet names again? I understand that you wouldn't want to do that while you were dating someone obviously but if you have broken up with someone is it really that wrong or messed up to create new memories with someone else by sharing everything that you have or should you limit the things you share with them and not take them to the same places if it's something that they would like or say call them by pet names associated with common interests such as characters from shows.

@kid yes and no I mean there is so many cute names out there so that isnt so bad but taking someone somewhere whhere have taking one of your ex partner is mixed cause you could accidentally say you took your ex partner to that place I might make them feel insecure about if. You have moved on so they might feel like a rebound but that's just my opinion on the matrer

Kid, If I didn't go to some of the same places or do some of the same things, I'd have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do. A pet name being reused is kind of weird, if only for the fact that it's a bit more personal, even if it's based on a character. Really, if you have to question these things, you're not over your ex.
