To add on to what charles and lamby are saying, lootboxes/DlC are kinda dumb on their own any way. Like yeah you dont have to buy them but think ur paying $60 for a game with stuff intentionally withheld for the purpose of DLC that you need to pay for.

I think my biggest problem is that people seem to not understand what "p2w" even is anymore. They just see an ingame shop and instantly are like "must be p2w" Since I've seen people complain about 'p2w' in games like For Honor actually where the ingame shop just has stuff like cosmetics and convenience items like exp boosts...That you can all buy with the ingame currency you earn from playing the game. Of course looking fancier or leveling your character a bit faster isn't going to make you any better at the game or give an inherent advantage over other players Hell, there hasn't even been a truly P2W game since the likes of Archeage despite 'this game is p2w' being such a popular complaint for literally anything with an ingame shop these days.

Actually there is a thing called 'pay to progress' ... Wargaming group is using it in their World of Tanks/World of Warships etc. games. They state that game is balanced (is not xD), and to get higher Tier tanks you need to grind a lot (their policy). They hope you don't want to spend so much time getting a tank, so you will buy gold to get extra ingame credits and xp. (two things req. to buy a tank). I was thinking is worth mentioning it. :)

@Panda-kun ™ I'm saying that I had a harder time with my first Bloodborne run. :D Some bosses were incredibly hard for me because the combat was so damn fast compared to DS. I had a tough time with Henryk 1 vs 1, the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst and the god damn Orphan. xD Or the way to The One Reborn. Sekiro is hard too, but I don't know, I didn't have that many problems at the moment and never thought "that's too hard". Maybe it's because I'm fighting pretty risky, the enemies aren't as frightening as the disturbing, nightmarish and Berserk like Bloodborne enemies still haunting my dreams lol

@kuroi one boss i felt had more potential was long armed centeped giraffe. Like really you just had to deflect his attacks and just jump on him when he charge attacks. It was so lackluster. I think they mafe the bosses very uninteresting to incorporate deflecting and junk if they made dodging viable the bosses would have more than 2-3 movesets
