@Liz I confess that we all go through these online-deactivation stages in our lives. And they're good for us! (like the time I deactivated my Neopets account cause I obsessed over those stupid rainbow paintbrushes or whatever you call them) (I was like 11 tho) I think when those thoughts enter our brains, it's trying to tell us something... subconsciously! You WANT to deactivate, and you should do so as soon as possible! You should allow yourself the chance to grow outside of these forums, and the brain doesn't want to be held back anymore! It doesn't want you to waste your time! ...at least that's what my brain's telling me (#WOMP) (I'm deactivating this December, actually :P)

@taletellerinabox, Even master Skywalker was betrayed by one of his students. (Been watching too much Star Wars lately). People who want to learn to fight often want to or end up using that power in a bad way. It's not so much that power corrupts, it's more that easily corruptible people are attracted to power because they lack a sense of responsibility in the use of that power. With time and experience you can learn to read people better to filter out students who might use their power in a bad way. As well as instilling that sense of honor, justice and moral responsibility in your teaching to the students you decide to accept. Force (fighting) should always be avoided if their is another solution. If their is no other choice, only the minimum amount of defensive force should be used except in cases where someone is literally trying to kill you and you have no options. Violence has a tendency to escalate: fists to knives to guns. And no amount of martial arts training can stop a bullet. Killing leads to hate/rage which leads to vengeance and more killing in endless cycles. Bullies create future bullies from many of their victims. Oftentimes the bullies are just victims themselves of abusive fathers or others. You have have to short circuit the cycle of violence and find out why the bullies are lashing out and looking for victims. Who is hurting them? Or what aspect of their lives are causing rage and frustration that is making them feel helpless and causing them to victimize the weak in order to regain the feeling of power that is being taken from them by someone or something in their lives. Otherwise, just beating them will just continue the cycle by increasing their rage and feeling of helplessness and they will just look for weaker victims to hurt worse.

Anyway I confess I hate having stupid crushes on unattainable people. I'm actually quite a logical person but when it comes to cute guys my brain seems to deactivate >_<
