I confess... Why does anyone care about one marketed day for celebrating love, when there are 364 other days to do the very same thing?

I feel like no one really cares, they just don't want to be alone on a day where others flaunt having someone to share their time with.

Wolf, I'd argue that it's not so much everyone flaunting as much as it's media/advertising pushing it in your face. Even when I was single, I always felt indifferent about the day. Point is, don't let it get to ya. I mean, you have an entire year to dwell on how miserable and alone you are. ;P

It's more like a guidepost. You use it as a reminder to show your acknowledgement of whatever it is that it's about. Use it as a way to try to elevate the understanding of love between the two of you higher than you might otherwise be able to. Love is communication, and doubts build up over time as the only voice inside your head is your own, so use that love during a time for love, to dispel those doubts.

@Maria honestly I think that is rhe case for almost everyone who started life not going to college or not having money xD

@Yaasshat I don't feel miserable or alone though. I have close friends for when I feel alone, and I come on here or other forums for great conversations and to build new friendships. These things keep me from being miserable (along with my creature comforts). @Mariahaise I hope things get better for you soon. Anything I (or we) can help with?
